Local knowledge was used to good effect by Alistair Tait in the first of the season’s ETIQUS sponsored AGW ‘meetings’ at Woburn last week. Playing the Marquess Course on a media day kindly arranged by IMG and Ricoh – to help promote the Ricoh Women’s British Open in July – Alistair came in with 32 points to beat second-placed Peter Dixon by an emphatic seven points. For his efforts, Alistair picked up the Ron Moseley Memorial Trophy on a day made particularly difficult by persistent rain on a long and tough course. Scores: Alistair Tait, 32pts. This is the first event on the AGWs ‘2016 Scottish Swing’. This will be the second of two events on the AGWs ‘2016 Scottish Swing’.
