Colin Callander played his last six holes in one under par to take out the 2015 AGW Presidents Putter at Turnberry. GolfDays2

Colin collected 34 Stableford points on a stunning Spring day at Trump Turnberry to deny AGW Chairman Derek Lawrenson by a point.

RTE’s Greg Allen was third with 31 points.

Colin’s triumph on the 2015 Ricoh Women’s British Open host venue has also seen him move to the top of the ETIQUS AGW Golfer of the Year points table and just slightly ahead of Dick Turner winner a day earlier of the R & Salver.

A very special thank you to Michelle and Tom at IMG for their very generous arrangements and also in allowing the AGW to combine the Presidents Putter with the Ricoh hosted media outing.

All scores and ETIQUS AGW Golfer of the Year standings will appear shortly on the AGW website.

PLEASE NOTE

The next AGW meeting will be the Michael Williams Hogget on Saturday 30th May at the Kilkeel GC in Co. Down and a short drive from the Irish Open host venue.
