Rules

  1. The trophy shall be called the Association of Golf Writers Arnold Palmer ‘Open’ Award and shall be the permanent property of the Association
  2. The trophy shall be called the Association of Golf Writers Open Award and shall be the permanent property of the Association.
  3. The trophy shall be awarded each year to the person or persons, who, in the opinion of the AGW Committee, have made particular efforts to assist the AGW membership in its endeavours to provide media coverage of golf.
  4. The Committee will discuss candidates and decide whether to award the trophy, and the Committee welcomes recommendations for trophy recipients from members of the AGW.
  5. The trophy shall be held by the winner for a period of one year from the date of presentation.
