AGW PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES

A reminder that we will be playing two Dr Alister MacKenzie-designed courses, Sand Moor and Moortown later this year.

The clubs are almost neighbours and situated five miles north of Leeds city centre. Sand Moor will be staging the England U18 Championship immediately following our visit on Thursday September 24. We have been granted courtesy and five tee times from 1.38 to 2.26pm. Thanks to Dan Murphy of Sports Publications/18Players for facilitating this.

Likewise, Mark Townsend for the day at Moortown on Friday September 25. The club has staged many prestigious events, not least the first Ryder Cup match on British soil. Again, we have been granted courtesy and five tee times from 10am. The golf will be followed by soup and sandwiches, cost TBA, and the presentation of trophies.
