AGW Chairman Martin Dempster continues to lead the way to the closing two tournaments in this year’s ETIQUS – Race To Royal Liverpool – AGW Golfer of the Year award.

Martin’s first place in the season-opening R & A Salver and his seventh place finish on Monday at Aberdour in the Renton Laidlaw Quaich sees him retain a 5-shot lead despite not contesting the recent Michael Williams Hogget.

Brian McLauchlin stays in second place on 58 points and with Ed Hodge just a point back of Brian on 57 points.

Colin Harding, and now a four-time winner of the Michael Williams Hogget, enters the ‘Race’ with 30 points and knowing he has some catching-up to do if he’s to unseart our Chairman.
