The AGW’s annual golf match against the Golf Foundation took place at North Hants Golf Club on June 6th, 2023.
With the Golf Foundation having taken a firm grip on the trophy in recent years, it was hoped the AGW team of Peter Dixon, Bill Elliott, James Nursey, Colin Harding, Dick Turner, Colin Callander, Adrian Milledge and Ian Mullins would reverse the trend. It was not to be.
In the event, the Golf Foundation won the match 3-1. There were 2&1 defeats for Dixon and Elliott, Nursey and Harding in the fourball better ball format, while Turner and Callander, Milledge and Mullins secured halves on behalf of the team.
